At school the other kids tease Dave because he is so different and Dave doesn’t have any friends. He has no one in his life to talk to or tell about his mom. He’s all alone!
I absolutely loved reading A Child Called It. This book is an autobiography about everything that Dave goes through in his childhood. Dave did a great job of writing this story through his point of view because I always knew what he was thinking and feeling and I felt like I was actually there. I recommend this book to book to boys and girls who are interested in learning about the terrible childhood of a young boy who was never given a chance.
